Our Story

Cristina has 22 years of experience in International Business, and the same years of passion for fashion!

Since very young, Cristina felt a certain difficulty in finding pieces that would fit her body type best, and it created in her a desire to one day have her own clothing brand. It started as a hobby and became real in 2009, back in her native Brazil, when she decided to learn the entire process of making clothes and became a seamstress.

Knowing the industry and how hard work is behind the scenes is what made her even more in love with the industry. Cristina started her own brand back in Brazil but had to put a pause on this project, due to her moving to the USA.

Cristina has a long history with the state of Wisconsin, as she was here in 1998, finishing high school as a foreign exchange student, and that is when she met her now husband Chris for the first time.

The couple dated briefly during that year, and once school was over Cristina had to go back to Brazil. 17 Years later, one Sunday morning in 2015, they reconnected online, and the rest is history.

Established in 2022, Brightter is the embodiment of Cristina's lifelong dream. With a resolute vision of creating a place where women can explore their unique style and embrace their self-confidence, Brightter opened its doors in the heart of Jefferson, WI. Since our inception, our continuous dedication has been to provide our cherished customers with an unparalleled shopping experience.
